Chalet Montet is a luxury 6 bedroom chalet situated in the quiet hamlet of Le Buet just 10 minutes drive from Chamonix with direct access to the le Tour ski area via the Vallorcine Telepherique. All the bedrooms are ensuite with 5 of them benefiting from their own balconies. The large main ground floor living area has under floor heating and leads via french doors onto a 40m2 sundeck and private garden with uninterrupted views of the Aiguille Rouge National Reserve.
Set in the tranquil surroundings of Le Buet with easy access by car or train (10 mins) to Le Tour and Argentiere, both chalets (Twinned with Chalet Buet) are furnished & decorated to the highest standard offering modern facilities with traditional features. Both are spacious, on three levels and maintain a homely and farm house feel. The 12/14 bed chalet, newly built in traditional Savoyard timber style is exceptionally spacious and comfortable. French doors open onto a private garden with unbroken views of the Aiguille Rouge National Reserve. Private accommodation within as every bedroom has its own luxurious bathroom & 5 rooms have their own balconies. A fully equipped, modern kitchen, comfy sofas and armchairs in-front of a uniquely designed open fire along with under floor heating makes for a blissfully relaxing home to stay in. Also included is a TV & a games room with table tennis table.
This spacious chalet was built in the summer of 2003. It is a traditional Savoyard timber structure finished to a high specification. It has a created a cosy, yet contemporary feel to the chalet which has six bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. Under floor heating throughout all of the ground floor and a large open fireplace ensures that you and your ski boots stay warm and toasty before the next days skiing! Sliding-glass doors at one end of the sitting room open out onto wooden decking. Five of the bedrooms have balconies of which four have mountain views and one has a river view. The modern kitchen has ample storage space with a large dishwasher, fridge, freezer and range cooker. Although open plan there is a separate TV snug area where one can watch digital TV and DVDs.
The summer in the Chamonix valley offers a huge range of outdoor activities incl climbing, walking, mountain biking and para gliding. We have contacts with Skiing and climbing guides who can be hired on a daily or weekly basis to take you as near as a walk around the Aiguille Rouges or as far as an epic 5 day ski tour of the Haut Route (Chamonix to Zermatt).

Le Buet is a hamlet situated between the village of Vallorcine and Argentiere. It is 1 hour 15 minutes from Geneva airport by car or you can take the train from Geneva airport to Martigny, change there and ride the Mont Blanc express up the hill to Le buet station - 1 minute walk from our chalets!
