EATING OUT
Within two minutes walking of either chalet lies the Hotel Buet, which has a friendly bar and serves simple french food.
Within two minutes drive either side of Le Buet are several excellent Savoyard restaurants. Argentiere (8mins drive) and Chamonix (20mins drive) offer a wide selection of dining options.
SHOPPING
There is a small local shop and excellent butcher (closed on monday) two minutes down the road. For larger shops there are supermarkets in Argentiere and Chamonix.
